- Are there hidden retainers or hourly fees?
- No payment is required for Desk Review or Expert Review before we review scope and send a quote. During private beta, Matter Check access is request-based while we finalise the result format and commercial terms.
- What if my matter is more complex than the service scope?
- We classify it as Expert Review, request more information if needed, and quote the structure (hourly, matter package or milestone retainer) before work begins.
- What counts as one Matter Check?
- One classified question / fact pattern / document mapping use one Matter Check. Simple clarification on the same scope is included; a materially new fact pattern uses another Matter Check.
- What's included in the trial?
- Sign up gives you free Matter Check trial access while the product is in private beta. The trial does not auto-renew or charge automatically. If the matter needs professional work, we route it to Desk Review or Expert Review, where the scope and fee are quoted before paid work begins.
- Are subscription plans available?
- Starter, Business and Team access are available by request during private beta. We will publish plan details after the Matter Check result card, usage limits and quality-control gates are finalised.
- Refund policy?
- Because self-serve checkout is not enabled on this page, no subscription payment is collected here. Desk Review and Expert Review refund rules are stated in the quote before payment.
- Currency and payment methods?
- Payment method and currency are confirmed in the accepted quote or access arrangement. Larger Expert Review matters can be quoted with invoice, milestone, retainer or escrow structure where appropriate.
